Opening times for Malago Surgery

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00am to 6:45pm

Wednesday 8:00am to 8:00pm

Saturday 9:00am to 11:00am

Please note that our Wednesday evening service after 6:30pm and our Saturday morning service at Malago are for pre-booked appointments only. In common with all Bristol surgeries weekend provision of emergency care is via the "Out of hours" service – see link on left.

We do not accept telephone calls between 12.30 pm and 2 pm except for medical emergencies (though our reception remains open).

General enquiries are best made after 11 am.
Results enquiries must be made after 2 pm.

We close on Bank Holidays and occasionally for staff training. Arrangements are posted on the surgery front door, and in the news section of this website.

Wednesday 13:30-17:45 (sexual health drop-in service)

Friday 11:00-12:45

Our telephone line is open from Monday to Friday 08.30-18.30. We do not accept calls between 12.30 and 14.00 except for medical emergencies, when your call will be transferred initially to our Out of Hours service, BriSDoc. During the UWE holidays the BS1 Student Health Service will continue to be open as normal.

Registering at Malago Surgery or BS1 surgery

You must register in person at the reception desk, with proof of identity (ID card, passport or photo driving licence) and proof of residence (a recent document that has both your name and address on it eg utility bill). You do not need to inform your previous practice. To save time you can “preregister” online by clicking the Emis access link, but you will still need to show us your proof of identity at the reception desk so that we can activate your registration. https://access.e-mis.co.uk
